Bring all of your friends for this one. Peanut butter + Chocolate + Banana on a DONUT. Who could ask for anything more? Metlcalfe’s utilizes this magnificent trio of peanut butter icing, chocolate drizzle and banana chips to top a made fresh daily donut . Have mercy!
6. Roasted Cauliflower Salad - Story Hill BKC
Story Hill BKC shows up again in the top 10 with a dish that is equal parts fresh and imaginative! They bring together roasted cauliflower served chilled in a light lemon vinaigrette, with dried grape tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, baby arugula and Montamoré cheese and finish it with a dollop of Central Greens basil pesto.
5. Wisconsin Fish Fry - Miller Time Pub & Grill
What can we say, you really can’t go wrong with a fish fry and hankr-ers concur! Miller Time serves up this classic the only way they know how - perfectly. Beer-battered in Miller (of course), the fried haddock is balanced with roasted poblano tartar, three-cabbage cole slaw, potato pancakes and applesauce. Don’t wait until Friday for this fish fry!
4. Curd Burger - Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub
A warm welcome has to be given to our newest restaurant addition as well as their induction into October’s top 10! Sprecher goes above and beyond with their Curd Burger topped with, you guessed it, CHEESE CURDS. The to-die-for burger is rounded out with onion straws and sauce made with Sprecher’s own Witty beer and served on a toasted onion bun.
3. Pig Monster Sandwich - ABV Social
If this mouthwatering sandwich looks familiar, it’s because it is! The Pig Monster has earned its spot in the top 10 in past months as well and it’s easy to see why! The sandwich is filled to the brim with Berkshire ham, bacon, and pulled pork covered in a Carolina Gold sauce and crunchy slaw. You can’t go wrong with this one!
2. Chef’s Taco Platter - El Jefe
Another recurring favorite comes in at the top of the list! With the variety this dish offers, it’s no wonder that it has maintained it’s popularity. The seven tacos that come in this delicious platter can range from the classic Barbacoa Taco to a unique twist on traditional Mexican street food with the Señor Croque Taco!
1. Metcalfe’s Two for $6
Claiming the top spot this month is a “choose your own adventure” type dish and is perfect if you are on the go. Metcalfe’s Two for $6 meal lets you choose from a selection of ready-to-go side salads, desserts and half sandwiches featuring Boar's Head deli meats, all created in the Metcalfe's kitchen fresh daily!
